Mark Susi

Mark has always been interested in numbers. When he was younger, he wanted to be a math teacher. Instead, he traded that for a career in financial services. In his 16 years in the industry he has enjoyed helping people reach their financial goals. He plans to do the same with the Karns team. In fact, the entire Hilliard office plans to help do their part to ensure that the Karns walk away with more insight into their spending and savings habits, and the $10,000 grand prize.

Ben and Jeanette are eager to develop new habits. They hope that the help of their financial trainer will aid them in making savvier savings choices. Together, they believe this eight-month challenge can give them skills to last a lifetime.

"Our desire to lead a healthy financial lifestyle and our commitment to make tough choices in order to remove barriers to that lifestyle, along with the support from family and friends, make us believe we will be KEMBA's Biggest Saver."

The Karns are continuously learning and trying to improve their financial situation. Years ago, they lived above their means and heavily relied on credit cards. They realized it was becoming a problem and, since then, have made significant steps to change their spending habits and focus on getting out of debt. Ben and Jeanette still admit that they have a lot to learn when it comes to saving money and reducing debt. They hope that this contest and their financial trainer will put them on the right path.

More than any prize money they might win, the Karns believe the insight, experiences and lifestyle changes they will make during these eight months will be much more valuable in the long run. But if they do win the grand prize, they plan to donate a portion to their church, make some changes to their son's bedroom and put the rest towards investing in their future financial security.
